IFBA Welcomes new Member from Tunisia

The IFBA is pleased to announce that the Tunisian Association for Biosafety & Environmental Education has joined our global community of member biosafety associations. ATB2E is a non-profit association with a leadership role in biorisk management, environmental education and natural resource conservation in Tunisia. The organization was founded on January 22nd, 2015 (2015R00141APSF1) by a panel of national scientists believing in sustainable development, the importance of biosafety awareness, biorisk management and environmental education. We warmly welcome ATB2E to our growing family.

IFBA Launches Certification Program for Biorisk Management Professionals

IFBA certification1The International Federation of Biosafety Associations Certification Body is pleased to launch a new certification program for biorisk management and biosafety professionals worldwide. This distinctive program strives to fulfill our mission of “safe, secure and responsible work with biological materials” by advancing the body of knowledge and increasing the competency of our profession. IFBA’s certificants bring increased value to their employers by demonstrating competence to carry out their responsibilities and by achieving high standards of excellence, professionalism, and continuous learning. By earning certifications from the IFBA, individuals reap the benefits of safer workplaces, career advancement, and international recognition among colleagues.
