The IFBA is pleased to announce that applications for the all-new IFBA Equity-Focused Coordinating Committee (IFBA ECC) are open! The ECC is a new global committee that serves to discuss, promote, and assist in activities and initiatives related to gender and intersectional equity in global biosafety and biosecurity. Examples of initiatives or topics related to ECC mission and scope include gender and global health security, the accessibility of common biosafety and biosecurity tools and resources, as well as the development of strategies to amplify the voices of women and other underrepresented leaders in global biosafety and biosecurity fields.
