The International Federation of Biosafety Associations (IFBA), in partnership with Global Affairs Canada, is establishing an ASEAN Women’s Network for Biosafety and Biosecurity to empower local women as contributors to sustainable health security in the region, leveraging lessons from the recenty launched African Women’s Network.
Held during the 17th A-PBA Conference, this workshop will establish governance, operations, and activities for a biosafety network that for gender equity and long-term action implementation.
The IFBA will foster collaboration with similar networks in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
