The IFBA is pleased to announce its call for applications for the 2023 Global Mentorship Program. Entering into its third official program cycle, the program has achieved considerable outcomes and positive reputation as it builds global biosafety and biosecurity capacity. Following extensive feedback from past participants, as well as consideration of emerging priorities across the global biosafety and biosecurity landscape, selected changes to the program’s content and delivery have been implemented for 2023 to ensure maximized program impact and sustainability.
IFBA Global Mentors will remain as invaluable technical resources for mentees in their region, with at least two IFBA Professional Certifications. They will help contribute to an online mentorship community by collaborating with other mentors and mentees, writing short technical briefs about foundational and emerging topics in global biosafety and biosecurity, as well as guiding their mentees through group projects or papers throughout the program cycle.
