The International Federation of Biosafety Associations is pleased to continue to assist the Mali Association for Biosafety & Biosecurity (MABB) in the implementation of a comprehensive national biosafety and biosecurity system in Mali.
The project, funded by Global Affairs Canada, is part of an overall effort by the IFBA to facilitate partnerships between our worldwide network of biosafety associations and national governments in the implementation of the Global Health Security Agenda’s (GHSA) Action Prevent – 3: Biosafety & Biosecurity goals and objectives. Recent activities include the facilitation of a legislation drafting workshop by the Verification Research, Training and Information Centre (VERTIC) for MABB members and representatives from various Malian ministries and agencies.
