The International Federation of Biosafety Association is pleased to collaborate with the African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM) in advancing biosafety and biosecurity across Africa. We would like to draw your attention to the upcoming ASLM 2018 Conference “Preventing and Controlling the Next Pandemic – The Role of the Laboratory” to be held in Abuja, Nigeria, December 10-13. Abstract submissions are currently being accepted and may focus on one of three tracks: Pandemic Threat, Laboratory Response, or Synergizing Partnerships.

ASLM is calling on the scientific community to submit abstracts for ASLM2018, ASLM’s biennial conference in Abuja, Nigeria from 10-13 December. Abstracts may focus on one of three Tracks: Pandemic Threat, Laboratory Response, or Synergizing Partnerships (currently few submissions for this track). Abstracts may be in English or French and the submissions deadline has been extended to 10 Aug. Accepted abstracts will be released publicly on the conference and ASLM web portals in the original language of submission.
