Mr. Jacob Lusekelo serves as National Laboratory Quality Services officer & National Biosafety and Biosecurity Supervisor, Ministry of Health Tanzania. He is a Public Health and medical laboratory professional with 13 years of experience and has coordinated the establishment of East Africa Regional Centre of Excellence in Biosafety and Biosecurity.
During the COVID 19 outbreak, Jacob supported the WHO mission in Botswana. He has also participated in JEE missions in Ethiopia and South Africa as team lead in Biosafety and Biosecurity, National Laboratory Systems and Antimicrobial Resistance. Jacob holds Bachelor of Science General, Msc. Public Health and Executive Education in Project Management, Epidemic Preparedness and Response.
