Vorathep Sachdev
Vorathep (Dev) is a PhD Candidate at the University of Edinburgh. His PhD project uses Thailand as a case study to improve biosafety and biosecurity governance in Southeast Asia. Previously, he completed a Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne with a concentration in health law, where he researched human enhancement ethics. He has also worked in intellectual property and pharmaceutical regulation at a leading law firm in Thailand and worked as a career advisor at Biosecurity Network and Effective Thesis. He completed his undergraduate in law at Thammasat University. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, coaching football, reading, and film!
