A new interactive infographic on global health security and biosecurity has recently been launched by NTI:Bio. The information is aimed at highlighting for global decision-makers the need for increased investment in global preparedness to prevent, detect, and respond to biological threats. The site includes specific scenarios featuring a country with a weak health system facing an unknown biological event. The graphic then walks through the ways in which vulnerabilities lead to a transboundary crisis. Global preparedness statistics follow to demonstrate that these vulnerabilities are widespread and that now is the time to invest globally to prevent catastrophic biological threats.
