Radhi Hamasha earned his BSc in Chemical Engineering from the Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) and has successfully completed the Master’s-level 20-credit Module in Applied Dual-Use Biosecurity Education from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom.

He currently works as the Head of Quality Assurance and Biosafety Officer for the JUST/Princess Haya Biotechnology Centre where he applies international quality and safety standards including the College of American Pathologists CAP accreditation, ISO 9001, ISO15189, OHSAS18001 and the Biorisk Management Standard CWA15793. In 2016, he earned his IFBA Professional Certification in Biorisk Management. In March of 2017, he also earned his NSF accreditation as a Class II Biosafety Cabinet field certifier according to the requirements of the NSF/ANSI Standard 49. In his workplace, he assists in the application of health and safety measures, auditing and the inspection of the quality requirements for laboratories. He is also an instructor in biorisk management systems and trains others in the testing and certification of biosafety cabinets.
