The International Federation of Biosafety Associations (IFBA) is pleased to recognize Pond & Company for their generous sponsorship supporting students in the Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology (MMUST) BSc. Biosafety & Biosecurity program.
The sponsorship will directly support student stipends and university fees for the upcoming Year 3, Semester 2 cohort, strengthening hands-on education in the world’s only undergraduate biosafety and biosecurity degree program of its kind. This investment contributes to building a skilled workforce capable of supporting national and global health preparedness and response efforts.
In sharing their support, Pond’s Life Sciences team expressed confidence that “The contribution will help students understand that the world is safer and stronger knowing they are going to impact the future.” Pond & Company has also been invited to visit MMUST and engage directly with students to share industry expertise in biocontainment facilities, helping bridge classroom learning with real-world practice.
