
Abigail Crawford
Program Officer
Abigail Crawford is a Program Officer with the International Federation of Biosafety Associations. In her role, she works closely with the IFBA’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion portfolio in partnership with the IFBA’s global network and partners. In this regard, her work includes supporting regional women’s networks for biosafety and biosecurity as they are mainstreamed into regional and global health security professional communities. Abigail also contributes to IFBA’s ongoing partnerships and programs to cultivate the biosafety and biosecurity profession, including collaboration with the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs Youth4Biosecurity fellowship.
Abigail graduated summa cum laude from Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania, USA with a Bachelor of Arts in public policy and French & Francophone studies. Her past research largely included the public health and environmental implications of large-scale industrial agriculture operations and policy measures to mitigate their effects.
