IFBA Certification Fellow

Alfred Alinda Khamala is a Biosafety Officer with the National Biosafety Authority of Kenya in the Compliance and enforcement department, Facility certification and laboratory services. He holds a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, both from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. He is a member of the Biorisk Association of Kenya since 2022 and holds a Biorisk Management Certification from IFBA. Currently, Alfred serves as our 2023 Youth Certification Fellow.
