Graduated with a Master’s degree in infectious diseases obtained at the Claude Bernard University of Lyon, Arnaud Orelle worked in the research departments of Sanofi-Pasteur in France as well as in the Virology unit of the Pasteur Institute in Madagascar, then at the University of Hong Kong. In 2011, he joined IQLS as an international expert in laboratory, quality and biosafety, before carrying out consulting missions at Sanofi Pasteur.
He joined the Lab’Science network (a centre of expertise in engineering and construction of controlled atmosphere environments) in 2020 as a Scientific Advisor to the Scientific Direction. He also serves as quality manager, and is the coordinator of the network’s training organization: Lab’Science Academy.
Arnaud Orelle is a representative in France of the ASM (American Society for Microbiology) of which he is Young Ambassador to France (2019 – 2021). He was also a member of the restricted advisory board of the ASM Young Leader Circle (YLC) (2020-2023), and was even its chair in 2021-2022. Furthermore, Arnaud is a professional certified by the IFBA (International Federation of Biosafety Association) in Biorisk Management and Biosafety Cabinet Selection, Installation & Safe Use.
Arnaud benefits from strong international experience with no less than 35 countries in which he has worked (training, evaluation, audit, technical assistance).

Il a rejoint le réseau Lab’Science (Pôle d’expertise en ingénierie et en construction d’environnements sous atmosphère contrôlée) en 2020 en tant que conseiller Scientifique auprès de la direction Scientifique. Il y assure par ailleurs la fonction de referent qualité, et est le coordinateur de l’organisme de formation du reseau: la Lab’Science Académie.
Arnaud Orelle est un représentant en France de l’ASM (American Society for Microbiology) dont il est Young Ambassador to France (2019 – 2021).
