Dr Diah Iskandriati is a Senior Research Scientist, Biorisk Management Advisor, and Chairperson of the Institutional Biorisk Committee at the Primate Research Center, as well as a Lecturer at the Primatology Graduate Program of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB University), Bogor, Indonesia. She has a lot of professional experiences at both national and international levels, and actively participate in several professional organizations in the executive board or as member. During her employment services, she had received and given various trainings in the areas of Biosafety, Biosecurity and Biorisk Management aspects; and currently she is still actively teaching and training researchers and scientists from private and governmental institutions in Indonesia. She was also involved in the development of regulation framework and certification standard of Laboratory Biorisk Management in Indonesia. In 2017, she received the “Biosafety Hero” award from the International Federation of Biosafety Association (IFBA) for her contributions to promoting biosafety and biosecurity in Indonesia and the S.E. Asia region. Dr Iskandriati had the Veterinary medical degree and holds her Ph.D from IPB University, Indonesia.
