The IFBA is pleased to have participated in the Youth Declaration for Biosecurity, a call-to-action from the next generation of biosecurity professionals to the Biological Weapons Convention community, containing policy recommendations from young leaders to support youth participation in global biosecurity. Launched at the margins of the BWC Meeting of States Parties in November 2021, the declaration is a result of the Youth for Biosecurity Initiative implemented by the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) in collaboration with young leaders in biosecurity from organizations around the globe.
